5 months old already...

This month's new skill is sitting up. It is very entertaining, especially since Tyler finds it funny when he tips over. He gets so excited when he sits by himself that he throws his hands in the air and ends up on his back. We are definitely past the point where he can be left unattended.

We showcased his new skill with 5 month pictures. His round head perfectly showcases hats so he is accumulating a wide variety.

2 month check up

Well Tyler is officially 2 months old today. We got to celebrate it with him having a cold but otherwise everything is still going well. Per the doctor he measures 23" (50th percentile) and 12lbs 10 ounces (75th percentile). I don't remember what his head measured but it was also in the 75th percentile. At least he's growing proportiately.

Easter Swing - Tyler's intro to dancing

This weekend we attended our local annual Swing Dance convention - Easter Swing. Tyler was a hit and handled all the commotion extremely well for only being 4 weeks old.

Relaxing in the hotel room. I remembered to bring an Easter basket even though he was understandably under-whelmed by the effort.





Hanging with Pat (Oma). She was really the superstar of the weekend taking the night shift with the colicky baby. It was the best sleep I've gotten since before Tyler was born.

Tyler modeling his new ear protection. They made him a little top heavy but it at least allowed him to be in the ballroom during the dancing and competitions. He was pretty popular with this accessory.

It's a Boy!

We had the 20 week ultrasound today and found out that we're having a boy. Guess we'll be going with the name Tyler then.
